🌟 Why, Why, Why? 🌟
Ever since I could talk, “why” has been my favorite question. My mum can vouch for that! But seriously, why is “why” so important? 🤔 It’s because it helps us make sense of our lives and the world around us.
Take this classic example: “Why can’t I play in the street?” If you’re a city parent, you’ve probably heard this one a million times. But what’s your answer? I hope it’s not just “because I said so!” That doesn’t really teach anything, except maybe a lesson in power dynamics. Instead, let’s help our kids think for themselves and understand the world around them. 🌍
And here’s another thought-provoking question: “Why do I have to wear a burqa and cover myself from head to foot?” I know this is a sensitive topic, but I’m genuinely curious. I don’t want to hear “because it’s tradition.” I want to understand the deeper reasons. So, if any Muslim women out there can share their insights, please enlighten us. 🙏
I’m not here to give answers to these “why” questions because the answers should be personal and unique to each of us. I just want to encourage everyone to think about why we do the things we do. Let’s dig a little deeper and understand ourselves better. 💭
